Web Developer Office Fitout
Working with Butterfly Website Design to create a beautiful, ergonomic and comforting environment for their staff and clients was a fantastic experience. Naturally, creative industries like website design have embraced studio spaces with open-plan workstations. This was important when designing Butterfly’s new interior, but some separate offices needed to be established for liaising with their extensive list of clients. Their new office needed to exemplify their branding and encourage collaboration without crowding the space out. The office also needed to be future-proofed for expansion.
Central Fitout Theme:
The individual offices use beautiful floor-to-ceiling glass partition walls, which complement the open-plan design outside perfectly. Offices are separated via red accented pin-up fabric panels, a theme that follows the office’s central design for a vibe that is unmistakably Butterfly’s. Just like all designs we do for our clients, we 3D-modelled and rendered the proposed custom furniture and office layout, so our clients can experiment with different colours, materials, layouts and more before construction begins.
There are six individual offices, one meeting room, one boardroom and 28 open-plan workstations. We’ve made use of the vast space on offer at Butterfly’s space, allowing for simultaneous liaison with multiple clients and a future-proofed work environment, all without making the place feel cramped.
Multimedia-friendly Furniture:
All the open-plan desk furnishings at Butterfly Website Design’s office are custom-designed and include concealed ports for data and power, with unobtrusive cable management run through channels at the rear. The custom-designed workstations, offices and boardroom desks follow the office design theme of Polar White furnishings with Laminex Licorice Linea trimming. Although the office space has an emphasis on open-plan design, the open-plan workstations use a diamond frame design with some back panelling to keep some of the functionality of a cubicle without compromising on collaboration.

Executive Office and Boardroom:
The executive office features matching custom cabinetry, once again in Polar White with Laminex Licorice Linea trimming. The custom cabinetry has plenty of space for storage, with buffet and overhead units throughout, coupled with an overhang on the desk to act as a meeting table for up to five people.
Butterfly’s boardroom exemplifies the sleek, yet casual design of their office space. Simple white furnishing with aluminium legs are placed throughout, with a wall-mounted display for presentations. All boardroom tables are available with customised boardroom desks, with specialised cable management and multimedia device storage if necessary.
